About Julie

My approach is rooted in psychodynamic, attachment theories and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

I have a particular passion for helping you navigate difficult life transitions like job loss, divorce & breakups, grief, and second acts in life. I love helping writers of any age find their voice.

I’ve worked in private practice, community agencies, and a major Washington D.C. trauma hospital. I became a therapist later in life, after careers in journalism and marketing. My personal and professional experiences inform my work.
